The Codex

A Registry of Creatures, Relics, Regions, and Rites

The Codex is not merely a catalogue— it is a bone-bound ledger of all things the tide has tried (and failed) to swallow. Here you will find the dredged-up accounts of abyssal fauna, relics preserved in brine-dark vaults, regions where the water bends strangely, rites forgotten by their makers, and letters carried by gulls who long outlived their senders.

Each entry is penned by Keepers whose names are not recorded, for names have a tendency to drift.

On the Nature of the Codex

Be warned: knowledge is heavier than ballast. Some entries may whisper in ways you do not expect. Some may shift when reread. And a scarce few may be missing entirely— stolen by currents or obscured by those with a vested interest in silence.

To those with keen eyes: A subtle seal is hidden in several entries. Its pattern is a key to a deeper door.
